How to make Wheatpaste (The Aunt Jemima)

Wheatpaste is a type of glue used for sticking up posters and flyers. What makes wheatpaste better than normal glue is that it’s stickier and cheaper.

You will need:
A measuring cup
Sugar
Flour
Water
An oven
A pot
And cold water

To make the wheatpaste…
1. Boil 1 cup (2.4 dl) of water.
2. While the water is boiling. Put into another container 3 tablespoons (45 ml) of white flour. Add just enough cold water to make the flour a liquid. Stir well.
3. Pour the cold mixture slowly into the hot water while stirring constantly.
4. Bring to a boil and then let it cool.
5. Mix in 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of sugar after the glue has thickened. This adds strength.
